Happy hour set for weekday 2-6pm about $60. Good amount for 2 people. Pick options of 2 porks, steamed eggs and soju. Since we don't drink, we swap the soju to soft tofu soup. Lots of banchan (small dishes) as usual. We added an additional short ribs. Meats are very juicy. Steam eggs is very smooth and soft. Overall very good experience. Will come back again!

4.5 stars! Honestly surprised it has taken me this long to try Jeong Yook, but I was hesitant for the longest time after the switch from Baekjeong. My fiance & I were craving some a la carte KBBQ, and Jeong Yook had no wait on a Friday night! We were pleasantly surprised by the banchan spread once we were seated, and all of it was quite tasty. For dinner, we decided on the small beef combo ($99) which comes with brisket, marinated chuck flap tail, and short ribs (not marinated). It also comes with a steamed egg & stew of choice (we chose the kimchi stew). I added on a mul naengmyeon as well - this is a must for any KBBQ experience. Our meats came out quickly and the quality of the beef looked to be quite good! All of the servers here are really attentive while cooking the meats & nothing was overcooked. I also really liked how they were quite patient & allowed for us to finish each one before moving onto the next cut. The kimchi stew here is SO good, and it had the exact flavor that we were looking for but can't seem to get at other korean restaurants. The cold noodles were also really good - they don't skimp on the toppings, noodles were chewy, and the broth was perfectly icy! The restaurant itself is quite spacious & large, and it wasn't too busy on a Friday night. We didn't reek of KBBQ when we left, and only smelled a little smoky from sitting close to the grill. Other quick notes - the yelp check in for a free beer unfortunately isn't accepted here, but they do have a wide selection of drinks.

The ambiance is inviting, with a pleasant mix of modernity and comfort. The staff is efficient and attentive, ensuring a smooth grilling experience. The grilling process is done for you, which is great if you're a not-a-cook type like me. The side dishes complement the main course well, adding variety to the meal.It is a reliable choice for a satisfying KBBQ meal. Whether you're dining solo or with a group, the consistent quality of food and service makes it a go-to spot.

Very Good BBQ and satisfying! Came here for dinner with another family (4 adults and 3 kids) and ordered spicy pork, pork belly, beef brisket and 2 portions of Galbi. It was enough meat to feed everyone. The spicy pork was flavorful and surprisingly not that spicy so even the kids were able to eat it. The pork belly and brisket was good but I preferred marinated meat so those were not my favorite. The Galbi was outstanding! It comes with a good variety of banchan (sides) and they still give you the steam egg which most places now charge additional for. The yogurt soju was delicious as well. The place is pretty big but I would make a reservation if you have more than 4 people in your group. The staff seemed to rush from table to table even though it was not crowded so it takes longer to order additional items once they take your initial order.

Came here with a friend's family to celebrate a grand opening and we ordered like 2 Large Beef and 1 Large Pork Combos. We expected 8-9 people and only a total of 7 people ate so we were overwhelmed with how much food we had. But it was all still delicious. Really enjoyed the steak and wagyu of the beef combo and there was a lot of variety with the bonchon. The servers took care of us with cooking all the meat and had good conversation with us. I wish the overhead fan was stronger though because there was a lot of smoke escaping it. I really enjoyed this place but would only come with multiple people!

A perfect spot for celebration. My daughter recommended this place for her send off party. We got the pork and beef combo package. The meat quality is undeniably the best I have tried. Soft and chewy. They keep the meat unflavored and we seasoned it to our liking. The extra jap chae we ordered is so flavorful. It completed my day. I like how they presented the overpowering side dishes which I learned called bachan later. t's a mix and match of variety of veggies. Included with the package are seafood soup and egg soufflé. I have never enjoyed a balance meal like this before. The red wine gives good compliment to this joyous meal. We had a great dining experience on this place. Wait, did I mention the wonderful service they provided from start to the end? The restaurant has good ambiance and the location is very accessible .

A true 4.5 stars. Jeong Yook replaced the Baekjeong location here, which we used to love. Happy to say that Jeong Yook feels like the upgraded, more classy version of Baekjeong! Prices are creeping higher, as others have said, but all in all worth it for a solid, solid kbbq meal in Queens. Service is great as the waiters were just the right amount of helpful- not hovering but definitely paying attention in case you needed anything. 100% would come back.
